Traffic diversions in Ahmedabad on ICC Cricket World Cup match days

Ahmedabad: The city police commissioner’s office has declared traffic diversions for the cricket matches scheduled at the Narendra Modi stadium on October 5, 14, November 4, 10, and 19. These diversions will be in effect from 11 am on match days until 2 am the following day.
According to the notification issued by the commissioner, the section of road spanning from Janpath T Junction to the main entrance of Motera metro station, continuing to Krupa Residency and up to Motera T Junction, will be closed to regular traffic. The traffic department has advised motorists to use the route from Tapovan Circle to ONGC Crossroads, proceed to Janpath T Junction, and then continue to the powerhouse before reaching Prabodh Raval Circle.
Vehicles will still be permitted to travel from Krupa Residency to Sharan Status Crossroads and then proceed to Apollo Circle via Koteshwar Road.
The notification explicitly mentions that only fire brigade, government vehicles, ambulances, and emergency vehicles will be permitted to access the closed-off road.
