Motera: India and Pakistan will clash tomorrow on the battlefields of the cricket ground here in the Narendra Modi Stadium. The match is scheduled to begin at 2 PM, and prior to that, an opening ceremony will be held. This ceremony will feature performances by renowned Bollywood singers.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on their Twitter handle that the opening ceremony will commence at 12:30 PM. Bollywood singers Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sukhwinder Singh will be performing at the event. This musical journey aims to enhance the audience’s experience, who are expected to be thrilled by the high-voltage cricket match between the two nations.
Over 1,50,000 people are expected to be in the stands to witness this match at the world’s largest cricket ground.
Initially, there were plans for an opening ceremony for the World Cup on October 5, with Bollywood stars such as Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, as well as renowned artists like Shreya Ghoshal, Asha Bhosle, Arijit, and Shankar Mahadevan scheduled to perform. However, BCCI decided not to proceed with this plan, and the musical ceremony will now take place before the India versus Pakistan match. DeshGujarat
