Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has announced the dates of the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUCET) exam for the year 2024. According to the announcement made by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board here, GUJCET 2024 shall be conducted on 2nd April 2024 for admissions in degree engineering, degree/diploma pharmacy courses, for science stream group-A, and group-B students.

A booklet for online application for GUJCET 2024 shall be published on GSEB.Org later. GUJCET 2024 shall be conducted on 2nd April 2024, Tuesday from 10 am to 4 pm at district centres.

GUJCET will involve question papers in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths – each paper shall have 40 questions of total 40 marks. While Physics and Chemistry papers will be 120 minutes duration each, Biology and Maths shall be 60 minutes duration each. Physics and Chemistry question papers shall be combined, meaning 40 questions from physics and 40 from chemistry – in total 80 questions, 80 marks, and 120 minutes time. OMR Answer sheet will also contain 80 replies. Biology and Maths papers shall be separate and OMR sheets shall also be different. This means that in Biology and Maths each 40 questions, 40 marks, and 60 minutes. OMR sheet shall be for 40 replies in each subject. The exam shall be conducted in Gujarat, English, and Hindi, all three mediums.
