Power bill above Rs. 10,000 must be paid online from 1st November

From 1st November onwards, electricity bills for above Rs. 10,000 will mandatorily be required to be paid through online mode only. This rule will be effective for all customers of GUVNL, MGVCL, PGVCL and DGVCL. Those customers, even those who are resident customers will need to pay bill above Rs. 10,000 sum only by online mode. Also, all industrial and High Tension (HT) connection customers will need to pay the bills online.
Consumers will be able to pay online bill through Google Pay, Pay-TM, Phone Pay, Amazon Pay, Bharat Pay Code, UPI, E-wallet, cash card, Rupay card, debit card, credit card, bank website, internet banking, RTGS, NEFT etc options.
