Ventura Airconnect aircraft’s tyre deflated on taxiway of Surat Airport; 3rd incident in 2 months

Surat: Ventura Air Connect owned aircraft’s tyre once again faced problem, due to which it was grounded on Surat airport’s taxi-way and taxi way ‘D’ at Surat International Airport had to be shut for entire night.
Some domestic and international flights faced problems in taking-off and couldn’t operate timely. The engineers performed the task of changing the tyre in the night. The plane was sent for maintenance. The incident has been reported to the office of Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA). The aircraft will not be allowed to fly again, till its inspection is carried out and completed. This may take about one week.
The plane had Ventura Air Connect owner Govindbhai Dholakia and seven other passengers on board when incident took place. In the last two months this is the third incident in which one of tyres of Ventura aircraft got deflated. A nine-seater plane was taxing ahead of take off from Surat airport for journey to Ahmedabad. The plane was standing of taxi way ‘D’ when the rear tyre deflated. The pilot cancelled Take off immediately. The plane was to take off for a journey to Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
