New Delhi: For the convenience of passengers, routes of three Vande Bharat Express trains are extended. Among them one is the Ahmedabad – Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express train that has been extended upto Udhna (Surat).

✔️ Extension of 20661/62 KSR Bengaluru-Dharwar Vande Bharat Express upto Belgavi

✔️Extension OF 22925/26 Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express upto Udhna.

✔️ Extension OF 22549/50 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express upto Prayagraj

This announcement was made today by union minister of state for Raiwlays, Darshanaben Jardosh. The minister has not mentioned the commencement of booking for extended routes or the date of effect of this decision. Trial runs on extended routes were already launched by Railways recently, and after success of the same, the decision was taken to extend the trains to longer route. In the case of Ahmedabad – Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express, we had already reported that the decision to extend it to Surat was on card. With this, Vadodara will also get halt of another Vande Bharat Express train, making easier and faster connectivity to places like Ahmedabad, Sanand, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot and Jamnagar.DeshGujarat
