November 19, 2023
Gandhinagar: Like in every Diwali vacation, heavy rush of Gujarati tourists could be seen at every single tourist and pilgrim place across Gujarat this year as well. Diwali vacation is ending today for the offices. However schools and colleges across the State will be reopening on November 29th. Roads linked to tourist places are witnessing heavy traffic due to extra rush of tourists. Particularly on Saturday there was very heavy traffic on such roads, as scores of people were returning to spend Sunday to watch the India – Australia world cup final on TV. A video of one such jam on Abu(Rajasthan) – Ambaji highway stretch went viral. The situation on Diu – Saurashtra highway, Kutch Rann Utsav linked road, Prabhas Patan Somnath, Statue of Unity and other tourist places were also same. Be it hotel booking or railway and bus booking, the situation will ease from tomorrow (20th November) with the end of Diwali vacation. DeshGujarat
