New Delhi: The booking of railway e-tickets has been temporarily hampered as the IRCTC website is currently down for maintenance activities.

In a tweet on X (Formerly Twitter), the IRCTC stated, “E-ticket booking is temporarily affected due to technical reasons. The technical team is working on it, and booking will be made available soon.”

The website is also displaying a downtime message which reads, ‘DUE TO MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY, E-TICKETING SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE. PLEASE TRY LATER. FOR CANCELLATION/FILE TDR, PLEASE CALL CUSTOMER CARE AT 14646, 0755-6610661 & 0755-4090600, OR EMAIL AT [email protected].’

Earlier, some users experienced login issues on the website. However, currently, when you open https://www.irctc.co.in/, a downtime message is displayed. Similarly, the IRCTC app is also non-functional, showing a network issue message.
