Surat: The Air Asia flight passengers travelling on Bengaluru – Surat route on Sunday faced a lot of free falls. Most passengers in flight felt sick. Instead of Surat, the flight was diverted and taken to Ahmedabad.

Due to bad weather and heavy rainfall, Surat had a very bad turbulence and flight almost tilted but managed to land at Ahmedabad eventually. A passenger who was on this flight shared on social media – ‘My colleague and I absolutely experienced a death bell! But post landing the guys started creating so much chaos!’

Another passenger stated – ‘One person wanted to get out immediately (at Ahmedabad where the flight was diverted) but clearance was not available for that and hence the passengers may have to get back to Surat! His wife was trying to make him understand that it’s not in their hands(to allow to leave the plane at Ahmedabad airport)! And he had the audacity to hit her!’

Eventually, the flight was taken to Surat airport in the evening with an atmospheric situation favorable. All passengers left the aircraft safely at Surat. DeshGujarat
