Flat for Rs. 6 lakh only in Sanand: AUDA to allot 756 PM Awas Yojana houses

Sanand: In alignment with the Housing for All initiative, the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) is constructing flats at TP Scheme 4/A near Modern School in Sanand under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). These flats will be available for the economically weaker section at a cost of only Rs.6 lakh. The application process for these houses has commenced on December 1.
Between December 1 and January 15, 2024, AUDA is accepting applications for 756 economically weaker section (EWS) housing units under PMAY. Interested individuals can apply on the AUDA website www.auda.ogs.in. The houses have an approximate area of 39.94 sq.m. The beneficiary income limit to apply for the house is up to Rs.3 lakh, and the estimated house cost for the applicant is Rs.6 lakh. AUDA officials mentioned that beneficiaries applying for the 756 flats will be selected through a computerized draw.
It’s noteworthy that the central government has designated Sanand as a satellite city of Mega City Ahmedabad. The introduction of such government schemes in and around Sanand aims to alleviate the residential burden on Ahmedabad DeshGujarat
