4 dead, 3 injured in accident near Dhangadhra Bypass on Kutch Highway

Surendranagar: An accident occurred today near Dhrangadhra bypass on the Ahmedabad-Kutch highway, leaving four dead and three others injured.
According to the details of the accident, six youths from Golasan village in Halvad taluka had attended a wedding in Narali village in Dhrangadhra taluka. While returning home from Halvad, the driver lost control of the steering wheel of his Swift car. The car jumped the divider and collided with the Eicher truck coming from the opposite side, resulting in the tragic deaths of four of the six youths inside the car. The accident was so severe that the car’s engine was ejected and thrown 20 feet away.
Traffic jams occurred on the highway due to the incident. Upon learning of the accident, local police immediately rushed to the spot, sent the bodies of the deceased for the post-mortem, registered a case of accidental death, and initiated further investigation. The injured were promptly shifted to Dhrangadhra Government Hospital for urgent treatment in a 108-car ambulance van.
In the accident, the car overturned. Three individuals died at the scene, while one succumbed to injuries during treatment.
The four individuals who have died are: Kiranbhai Manubhai Surela (18), Umeshbhai Jagdishbhai Ukediya (15), Karsanbhai Bharatbhai Ratiya (23), and Kanjibhai Bhupatbhai Ratiya (18), while Kanjibhai Raidhanbhai Surela, Amitbhai Jagdishbhai Ukedia, and one unknown person are injured. DeshGujarat
