Adani shares pictures of ongoing works at proposed 30 GW renewable energy park at Khavda in Kutch

Bhuj: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani today shared pictures of the ongoing erection of solar panels at the Khavda (Kutch) based hybrid renewable park. The upcoming park in Rann of Kutch is going to be the largest hybrid renewables park (wind solar park) in the world.

During his annual general meeting (AGM) speech earlier this year, Gautam Adani said that the conglomerate plans to build the largest hybrid renewables park in the world in Gujarat’s Khavda faster than any of their projects before.

“We are now building the largest hybrid renewables park in the world – right in the middle of the desert – in Khavda. It will be the most complex and ambitious project that we have ever executed. Spread over 72,000 acres, this project will be capable of generating 20 GW of green energy. And we intend to build it faster than any project in our execution history,” said Gautam Adani during the AGM speech.

In his tweet today Adani said – ‘Proud to play a crucial role in India’s impressive strides in renewable energy as we build the world’s largest green energy park. This monumental project, covering 726 sq km in the challenging Rann desert, is visible even from space. We will generate 30GW to power over 20 million homes. Also, just 150 km away, in our karmabhoomi Mundra, we are creating one of the globe’s most extensive and integrated renewable energy manufacturing ecosystems for solar and wind. This marks a significant milestone in India’s journey towards sustainable energy, underlining our commitment to the Solar Alliance and the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.’
