Nexzu Mobility proposes a Smart EV Park in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 5,000 crore

Gandhinagar: Nexzu Mobility, the electric mobility company founded by Atulya Mittal, has suggested the creation of a Smart EV Park in Gujarat, outlining plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore in the project over the next decade. This proposal was announced during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government on Thursday in the run-up to the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024.

The company’s statement indicated that work on the project is slated to commence next year once the land is allocated and anticipates generating employment for over 5,000 individuals. The envisioned park aims to function as a central hub, providing comprehensive solutions for electric vehicle companies, professionals, owners, and users. The focus will be on creating an ecosystem within a concentrated area, emphasising infrastructure sharing, among other aspects.

Mittal stated that Gujarat is an excellent place to set up the Smart EV Park. He also mentioned that establishing the park here will reinforce the state’s position as an electric vehicle manufacturing hub.

The proposed Smart EV Park will be designed as an industrial park with readily available manufacturing facilities, shared testing and research and development units, and amenities such as housing, education, and healthcare facilities. DeshGujarat
