Surat Police nabs 2 Nepalis with 8 kg of Charas

Surat: The city police today nabbed two Nepali citizens and seized around 8 kg of Charas they were possessing in the Saroli area of the city.
Acting on a tip-off, Saroli Police set up surveillance near the border checkpoint in Surat. Upon spotting two suspicious youths, the police detained and searched them, resulting in the seizure of Charas. A total of 8 kg of contraband was seized in the operation. The confiscated substance is valued at Rs 11 lakh.
The two Nepali youths involved in the crime have been apprehended. Investigations are ongoing to gather more information about the origin and quantity of the charas, which is believed to have been brought from Nepal. DeshGujarat
