Gensol EV to set up Rs 2,000 crore EV manufacturing plant in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gensol EV has announced its intention to invest Rs 2,000 crore in establishing an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Gujarat.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) for this investment was signed as part of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024’s investment promotion initiatives. The project is expected to create approximately 1,500 jobs in the region. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
According to the company, the proposed EV manufacturing plant aims to be an innovative hub, producing a diverse range of advanced EVs for both commercial and personal use. DeshGujarat
