3.5 cr Ram Naam mantras penned by devotees in Somnath sent to Ayodhya

Ayodhya: In just 80 days, devotees from all over the country who visited Somnath Mandir wrote more than 3.5 crore Ram Naam mantra in a campaign called “Somnath to Ayodhya Shree Ram Naam Mantra Lekhan Mahayajna.” Today, a commemorative letter of “Somnath to Ayodhya Ram Naam Lekhan Yajna” in silver and gold fonts was handed over to the Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Shetra Trust in Ayodhya.
The Somnath Temple Trust had initiated this Ramnaam writing campaign on October 30, 2023, during the meeting of Shri Somnath Trust, Chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is also the Chairman of the Trust.
Under this campaign, Ram Naam were written in more than 11 languages, including Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Braille, Russian, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Oriya. The temple trust had planned to send 1 crore 25 lakh Ram Naam mantras from Somnath to Ayodhya. However, Rama devotees displayed indomitable devotion by completing 3.5 crore mantra writings.
