Nita Ambani visits Lalpur based Bandhni making centre in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: Reliance Foundation’s head Nita Ambani visited Bandhani makers in Lalpur village of Jamnagar district and conversed with the women active in Sakhi Mandal. Nitaben was briefed about the process of making Bandhani.
Dressed in a pink saree, Nitaben reached Lalpur based Bandhani kendra, run by a group of local women namely ‘Sakhi Mandal’ on Monday evening. Over 400 women in Lalpur village are involved in Bandhani making. Nitaben showed interest in visiting the Bandhani making centre to boost ‘vocal for local’.

Conversing with local women gathered outside the Bandhani Kendra, Nita Ambani inquired whether the village has school. The locals replied there are schools here. It’s worth to note here that Reliance has been instrumental in building several village facilities including schools in villages across Gujarat, especially in Jamnagar district.
Nita Ambani also heads Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, where Indian arts and craft is prominently showcased and encouraged.
Nita Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani and Radhika’s pre-wedding ceremony is going to be held at Jamnagar based Reliance campus on 1st, 2nd, 3rd March. Nitaben is in Jamnagar to monitor the preparations for the pre-wedding ceremony. DeshGujarat
