Gandhinagar: Speaking at SVPI Airport today, Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil said, that with JP Nadda going to Rajya Sabha from the State, Gujarat gets another new leadership. Patil thanked Prime Minister Modi for giving good leadership to Gujarat BJP.

‘With BJP national president JP Nadda, Gujarat gets further new leadership, excitement of which is visible on your faces,’ Patil said addressing party workers who gathered at SVPI airport to welcome Nadda who was here to file nomination as a candidate for Rajya Sabha.

Patil said this apparently about the fact that PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah are from Gujarat, and now the party’s national president is also going to be elected to the upper house of parliament from Gujarat.

Patil thanked PM Modi for giving good leadership to Gujarat BJP by fielding Nadda from Gujarat for Rajya Sabha. Patil told Nadda ‘we had your leadership but now you are one of us.’

Patil said, ‘You are contesting on winning a seat, but there shall be Lok Sabha elections this year and we will win all 26 seats in Gujarat and make a hetrick. Our target is winning margin of 5 lakh votes on each of 26 seats in Gujarat.’

Patil said next time the Rajya Sabha elections will be held at the end of the term, we will have Congress-must Rajya Sabha. He said Lok Sabha is already Congress-mukt and the assembly has nearly achieved it.

Speaking in this function, JP Nadda expressed pleasure over the opportunity to connect to Gujarat and thanked the Prime Minister for it. Nadda said he had filed nominations for many posts on many occasions, but getting elected from Gujarat remains a special one. DeshGujarat
