Gujarat govt approves Rs. 185.12 crore to build two new flyover bridges in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister has given in principle approval to construct two new flyover bridges in Ahmedabad city. These two flyovers will come up at Panjrapol junction and Panchvati junction. The government has given in-principle approval to allot Rs. 185.12 crore for construction of these two over-bridges.
The government will allocate Rs. 86.94 crore for building a 652 meters long and 17 meter wide Panjrapol junction flyover bridge. The government will also allocate Rs. 9818 crore for 779.19 meter long and 17 meter wide Panchvati junction flyover.
Under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana’s flyover bridge component, 75 flyovers including 20 in Ahmedabad city are to be built. The State governmetn has given in-principle approval for allocating Rs. 612.86 crore for seven of these flyovers.
The proposal for two new flyover bridges in Ahmedabad was moved by the municipal corporation before the urban development department . The allocation of Rs. 185.12 crore has been made for it from the provisions of the financial year 2023-24. DeshGujarat
