Ahmedabad: A passenger traveling on an IndiGo airline flight on Sunday posted a video on social media showcasing the presence of a cockroach on board the flight. The passenger also alleged that a similar incident occurred last week and requested the airline to keep the planes hygienic and clean.

In a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), one Rajeev Gupta wrote, “@IndiGo6E Today while travelling from Indore to Ahmedabad flight no. 7726 spotted cockroach near seat number 19C. Last week also a similar incident was observed in Indigo. Please make the plane more hygienic and safe. It’s not a good feeling to travel with such an incident.”

In reply to the passenger’s tweet, the airline tweeted, “Hi, we regret the discomfort. While we work hard to keep our flights clean and insect-free. hope you’ll understand insects or cockroaches cannot be completely guarded off against.
