March 05, 2024
Gandhinagar: Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party today launched postcards, a phone number, and an email ID to invite suggestions from the public for the party manifesto in Gujarat. The Gujarat BJP chief, C R Patil, launched these at the state party headquarters, Shri Kamalam, today.
Speaking about the initiative, Patil said, “The 2024 Lok Sabha polls are in front of us, and BJP presents its Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) in front of the public, providing a roadmap. However, before announcing the roadmap, we take suggestions from the public from all around the state so that the demands of the people can be added to the Sankalp Patra.”
“Today, BJP is launching a campaign in Gujarat to gather suggestions from the public before formulating the Sankalp Patra. The party aims to receive over 1 crore suggestions from the entire country for the Sankalp Patra 2024. To garner 15 lakh suggestions from Gujarat, four modes have been launched, including Sankalp Patra Box, NaMo app, a missed call number, and an email ID. Suggestion boxes will be placed at the party’s district offices, shopping malls, temples, and colleges across the state,” Patil said.

“In addition to this, ‘Viksit Bharat, Modi ni Guarantee’ video vans are being flagged off from the Kamalam office in Gandhinagar today, with two suggestion boxes each being sent to every Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat in these vans. Workers will also collect suggestions through Jan Sampark at the booth levels. Several cells of the BJP will hold public meetings at the district and Vidhan Sabha levels to gather small public opinions on the manifesto,” the state BJP chief further stated.
Patil also said, “The BJP has always fulfilled its promises, such as the removal of Articles 370, the construction of the Ram Mandir, and several other historic decisions under PM Narendra Modi. 95% of the promises from the 2014 and 2019 Sankalp Patras have also been fulfilled. BJP is the only single party that takes Sankalp Patra seriously.” DeshGujarat
