Kokilaben Ambani, Anant, Radhika host Dinner & Dayro at Dhirubhai’s native village Chorwad

Chorwad: Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant were on a visit to the native village Chorwad of the Ambani family in Gujarat to host a dinner for the entire village. A Dayro (Gujarati folk songs) event was also organized here on this occasion in the presence of Gujarat’s top Dayro artists, ahead of the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, scheduled to take place in July this year. Late Dhirubhai Ambani, the grandfather of Anant and founder of Reliance hailed from Chorwad.

On this occasion, Kokilaben Ambani wore the costliest saree of Gujarat , Patan nu Patolu, while Radhika wore a Patola motif dress. Anant and Radhika had dinner with villagers at the function.

Anant Ambani in his Gujarati address sought blessing from the villagers. He said – ‘ I have come to my grandfather’s village. I wish for your blessings for me and Radhika. Chorwad is my grandfather’s land. Reliance is because of Chorwad. If one Dhirubhai can rise from Chorwad, ten more should rise from here in the next ten years. I wish the children here take inspiration from Dhirubhai. This village has Shakti. I wish Chorwadi Mataji does good for all.’

The villagers applauded Anant’s speech. The Ambanis visited the Chorwadi mataji temple for the darshan of Mataji. Ambanis stayed at the old house of Dhirubhai Ambani. DeshGujarat
