Stone pelting in Vadodara over Hanuman Chalisa; 3 injured

Vadodara: Three persons were injured after the Muslims tried to stop Hanuman Chalisa in the Ektanagar area of Ajwa road in Vadodara on Wednesday evening. In this communal group clash, stones were pelted. Those injured were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Ektanagar in Bapod police station area has a Hanuman mandir. The clash happened after efforts by the Muslim group to stop the Hanuman Chalisa from being played over a loudspeaker at around 7.30 pm. There is a version that the Muslims had rushed to Hanuman Mandir not to stop the Hanuman Chalisa aarti sound but to lower it down. Those injured are Harish Saraniya, Dipak Saraniya and Rahil Sheikh. Police rushed to the area and controlled the situation. Search for rioters is underway. DeshGujarat
