Another accused in the Jhalod BJP Corporator murder case held

Dahod: Gujarat Police, in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Police, has apprehended one more accused in the murder case of Jhalod Corporator Hiren Patel in 2020.
Gujarat ATS DySP Harsh Upadhyay received intelligence that the accused Mohammed Irfan, also known as Irfan Bisti, a resident of Ujjain, was in Indore. Subsequently, the ATS in Madhya Pradesh was notified.
Later, through collaborative efforts between the ATS of both states, a 34-year-old individual was apprehended in Indore.
Jhalod corporator Hiren Patel was fatally run over on September 27th, 2020, and thereafter, the police detained another suspect named Imran, also known as Imran Bisti, from Mewat in Haryana, in December 2020.
Other individuals involved in the conspiracy, including Mohammed Sameer Mujawar, Sajjansingh Chauhan, and Ajaj Kala, were also apprehended. However, upon learning that he was implicated in the murder case, Irfan Bisti fled his village and had been evading authorities in Indore for the past three years. DeshGujarat
