Panchkoshi Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama begins

Vadodara: Panchkoshi Uttarvahini Narmada Parikrama begins today. It takes place from Rampura to Tilakwada. This yatra can be done anytime in Chaitra month. A temporary bridge is being erected on river Narmada between Shaherav and Tilakwada for Panchkoshi parikrama.
River Narmada flows in the Northern direction at three places. One is a 42 kg river stretch near Mandla in Madhya Pradesh and the other is a 16-km stretch from Rampura to Tilakwada in Narmada district.
The pilgrims are advised to take a torch, stick, water bottle, and towel with them during parikrama. DeshGujarat
