Saints call for amicable resolution amidst uproar over Rupala’s remark
April 12, 2024
Rajkot: Saints have now stepped into the fray to quell the uproar over Union Minister Parshottam Rupala’s remark. The National President of Sant Samiti, Avichalsad Maharaj, reacted to the entire matter and stated that both parties should come together to find an amicable solution. He emphasised that this fight would only harm Hindutva and appealed to both sides to calm the controversy.
The National President of Sant Samiti, Avichalsad Maharaj, while reacting to this matter, said, “We don’t believe that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) considers the sacrifices of Kshatriyas lesser and disrespects them. However, some mistakes have been made. We also strongly condemn what has been said and wonder under what circumstances this was said. But now, if we proceed by making that subject an issue, then our goal, to make Bharat Vishwaguru and to establish the history of India in our future generation, will somewhat face a problem. Therefore, the members of our saint committee appeal to both parties to sit together and find a way. Rather than making it a question of prestige, a solution should be found… If this matter is stretched for long, then the whole Hindu community will be hurt.” DeshGujarat
