Ahmedabad: Four women sustained injuries on Friday evening after a wall collapsed during the ongoing women’s cell meeting of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Kankaria picnic house in the city.

The accident occurred when a truck from the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES), parked nearby for the BJP event, reversed and struck the wall, causing it to collapse and injure five women standing behind it. The injured individuals, namely Vimla Parmar, Nanda Parmar, Neeru Vankar, and Lata Girdhar, were promptly taken to LG Hospital in Maninagar.

Fortunately, none of them suffered severe injuries. Senior BJP members, including Maninagar MLA Amul Bhatt, BJP candidate from Ahmedabad (West) seat Dinesh Makwana, and former MLA from Jamalpur-Khadia Bhushan Bhatt, rushed to LG Hospital to check on the situation.
