Firing on Salman Khan’s house; Two arrested from rural Kutch

Bhuj: West Kutch Police’s Crime Branch nabbed two suspects from the Mata No Madh area of Kutch district in connection with a firing incident at Hindi film actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai.

After receiving a tip-off that the suspects were near the Mata No Madh area, the West Kutch Crime Branch conducted an operation and arrested the duo at 1 am today. The two suspects, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were then taken to Dayapar Police Station. Later, both suspects, who hail from Champaran, Bihar, were arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch.

The firing incident occurred early Sunday outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy residence in Bandra, with the assailants arriving on a motorcycle and firing five shots, one of which hit the actor’s balcony.

After the shooting, Gupta and Pal abandoned their motorcycle and made their way to Bandra Railway Station. They boarded a train from Santacruz and then hired an autorickshaw to Mira Road. Subsequently, they traveled to Surat and eventually reached Bhuj, where they were apprehended by the Crime Branch.

The suspects have been taken to Mumbai to appear before the court. The police will conduct interrogations to ascertain who contracted them for the shooting. DeshGujarat
