Kutch: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat, with the help of a decoy trap, has nabbed an employee of Sterling Hospital in Gandhidham for his involvement in a bribery case involving ₹500.
According to the case details, Ayushmann cards under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana are issued to beneficiaries at Sterling Hospital in Gandhidham. In accordance with government regulations, this process is entirely free of cost. However, the ACB received information that the official on duty for generating Ayushmann Cards was unlawfully taking bribes of ₹400 to ₹500 from citizens in exchange for issuing the Ayushman card.
Based on this information, the ACB kept watch, and in the decoy operation, accused Harsh Rajeshbhai Gurjar, working at Ayushman Help Desk Counter of Sterling Hospital, was caught while demanding and accepting a ₹500 bribe from the decoy. DeshGujarat
