Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in his home state of Gujarat later today amid the campaigning for the ongoing general elections for Lok Sabha. During the visit, Shah will be addressing a campaign rally in Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha constituency. Shah’s program will be held at the Panchayat Office of Naroda Gam at around 7:30 PM. The election rally will be in support of BJP candidate Hanshmukh Patel, which will also be attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other seniors.

Shah is also likely to meet with party workers to gather details about the poll preparations in his constituency of Gandhinagar. It is also noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be in Gujarat for two days on May 1st and 2nd. DeshGujarat
