MoS Home reviews preparation of PM Modi’s rally in Jamnagar

Jamnagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to commence a two-day trip to his home state on Wednesday, during which he will address six public gatherings, covering 11 Lok Sabha constituencies in Gujarat. Prior to PM Modi’s visit to the city on May 2nd, BJP leader and Minister of State for Home of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi, on Monday visited Jamnagar to oversee the preparation of PM’s public meeting. Sanghavi inspected the event venue and held a meeting with Gujarat Government Minister Mulubhai Bera, Raghavji Patel, and Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani. MLA Rivaba Jadeja and Divyesh Akbari were also present in the meeting held at Lok Sabha MP and Candidate from the Jamnagar seat, Poonamben Madam.
As per the schedule, Modi will deliver speeches at two public events in Deesa of Banaskantha and Himmatnagar of Sabarkantha districts on Wednesday, i.e., May 1st, coinciding with Gujarat’s Foundation Day. On May 2, Modi will address public gatherings in Anand, Wadhwan of Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Jamnagar.
In another development, the coordination committee of the Kshatriya Community has urged Kshatriya youth to maintain peace and not take law and order into their hands. The Jamnagar District Rajput Coordinating Committee has released a letter appealing to Kshatriya community members to be disciplined and not to take the law into their hands, stating that there is a fear that evil elements will try to disrupt the peace in the movement led by the Kshatriya community.
