Junagadh: A Gir Lion at Sakkarbag Zoo attacked a contractual staffer, causing injuries. The staffer, who is a contract-based employee of the zoo, is hospitalized due to injuries to the shoulder, hand, leg, and head. At 9 am on Friday, a staffer, Dhirubhai Parshottam Tudiya (35), a resident of Bamangam, entered the lion’s cage for routine cleaning. Due to a mistake, the inner cage’s door remained open, allowing the lion to step out and attack Dhirubhai.
