Balvatika at Kankariya Lake to shut for visitors from June 5

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has today announced that Balvatika at Kankariya Lake Front will remain shut for visitors from June 5 due to revamping work which aims to bring in new activities and attractions. According to Jayesh Trivedi, Chairman of the Recreation, Cultural, and Heritage Committee of the AMC, Balvatika will reopen after the revamping work is over.
While revamping the current attractions, new additions such as the Lazy River, Robotic Dinopark, Traffic Park, Glass House, Mirror House, Snow Park, Wax Museum, etc., will also be added to Balvatika.
The agency responsible for carrying out the revamp work will complete the redevelopment work within one year after commencing it, and Balvatika will be open to visitors thereafter. DeshGujarat
