BJP increases victory margin on 13 seats in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: On 13 of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat, that went for polling, BJP candidates increased their leads compared to the leads party had achieved in previous Lok Sabha election of 2019 on these seats. The party candidates increased leads in Mahesana, Porbandar, Amreli, Bardoli despite of lower number of votes casted in 2024 compared to 2019.
-Mahesana lead of BJP up from 2.81 lakh in 2019 to 3.28 lakh in 2024 (despite of lower voting)
-Gandhinagar from 5.57 lakh to 7.44 lakh
-Ahmdabad East from 4.34 lakh to 4.61 lakh
-Rajkot 3.68 lakh to 4.82 lakh
-Porbandar 2.29 lakh to 3.83 lakh(despite of lower voting)
-Jamnagar 2.36 lakh to 2.38 lakh
-Amreli 2.01 lakh to 3.21 lakh (despite of lower voting)
-Bhavnagar 3.29 lakh to 4.55 lakh
-Panchmahal 4.28 lakh to 5.09 lakh
-Dahod 1.27 lakh to 3.33 lakh
-Chhota Udepur 3.77 lakh to 3.98 lakh
-Bardoli 2.15 lakh to 2.30 lakh (despite of lower voting)
-Navsari 6.89 lakh to 7.73 lakh
On other seats like Kutch, Patan, Sabarkantha, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Anand, Kheda, Vadodara, Bharuch and Valsad, party has witnessed decreased leads. Among them significant decrease is in Bharuch, which is from 3.34 lakh to over 85,000. In Patan the lead has come down from 1.93 lakh to over 31,000.
Party lost Banaskantha seat by over 33,000 votes where it was 3.68 lakh plus in 2019. Party has won Surat seat unopposed. DeshGujarat
