Dnag: The local police have arrested as many as 14 people so far in the case of the alleged attack on forest department staffers in Dhongiamba village of Kalibel range, Dang North Forest Division.

Cases of teak wood trafficking are frequent in the region, and during an attempt to stop the smuggling on Saturday, 8 forest department officials were attacked by the accused individuals. The forest department officials sustained severe and life-threatening injuries from the attack and were rushed to Ahwa Civil Hospital for treatment.
