Gujarat government extends Impact Fee application deadline by 6 months

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has extended the time period for making applications under the Impact Fee law by six months from 17th June. The Urban Development and Urban Housing Department of the Gujarat Government, in a notification dated 15th June 2024, stated that exercising powers conferred by sub-section (2A) of section 5 of the Gujarat Regularisation of Unauthorised Development Act, 2022 (Guj. 1 of 2023), the Government of Gujarat hereby extends the application deadline by six months starting from 17th June, 2024. The order is signed by Prakash Dutta, Joint Secretary to the Government. This is yet another extention given to the citizens by the State government under the Impact Fee law which facilitates regularization of prescribed types of illegal structures. DeshGujarat
