Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Crime Branch intercepted a parcel from the United States of America at the foreign post office and found hybrid ganja and liquid drugs worth ₹3.50 crore. The seizure was part of 58 parcels from Canada and America, in which drugs were concealed with diapers and sarees.

This courier from the US was found to be linked to a previous shipment containing hybrid ganja and liquid drugs. Upon learning of this, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch seized the parcel, preventing the delivery of the illegal consignment. This incident relates to a previous interception where similar drugs were sourced from the dark web.

An official from the Ahmedabad Crime Branch highlighted that no one has yet tried to buy the drugs in question so far. Operations are ongoing as authorities continue to trace any additional parcels that may have arrived unnoticed. DeshGujarat
