Days after attack on toll plaza staffers accused Kodinar PI suspended

Kodinar: Two days after being booked for attempting to murder two staffers at Gadoi Toll Plaza on National Highway 8D in Junagadh, Inspector R. Bhojani from Kodinar police station was suspended from duty on Tuesday.
Bhojani, who is currently absconding, allegedly attacked toll plaza staff along with a group of 20 people. The incident took place at Gadoi Toll Plaza near Vanthali on the highway, where Bhojani reportedly argued with Bhavesh Tamatia, a toll booth staff member, after being asked to show identification. Subsequently, Bhojani and others purportedly attempted to run their vehicle over Bhavesh and the toll plaza supervisor Rajesh. The accused also allegedly threatened the duo with death and physically assaulted them using wooden sticks and steel pipes.
The Inspector General of Junagadh Range has suspended Bhojani and he has been transferred from Kodinar police station and appointed as Inspector (leave reserve), said Gir Somnath SP Manoharsinh Jadeja. DeshGujarat
