Live: Rath Yatra 2024 from Ahmedabad, Gujarat online darshan

Ahmedabad: 147th Rath Yatra of Bhagwan Jagannath, Bahen Subhadra and Bhai Balabhadra is taking place today after Pahind ceremony performed by the Chief Minister of Gujarat in the morning. Total 23,600 jawans are guarding the Rath Yatra through its 16 km route in Eastern part of Ahmedabad city. 4500 police men in addition to Border Security Force(BSF) and Rapid Action Force(RAF) are involved in bandobast of the yatra which passes through the areas populated by Hindus and Muslims. The yatra which begins post 7 am generally ends in the evening. The route covers Jamalpur, Khamasa, AMC office, Dhal ni pol, Raipur chakla, Sarangpur darwaja, Revdi Bazar, Kalupur bridge, Saraspur where the yatra takes a halt at Shri Ranchhodraiji Mandir. In return journey the yatra covers Kalupur chokha bajar, Prem darwaja(from where sensitive Muslims majority areas start), Dariyapur, Shahpur Halim ni khadki, Rangila police chowky, Deilhi chakla, Ghee Kanta, Pankor Naka, Manek chowk, Khamasa, Jamalpur and Jagannath mandir. 20 drones, 96 surveillance cameras, 1733 body worn cameras, 1400 CCTV cameras, 16 amublances are deployed on the route.
