₹65 Lakh Robbery: Police review 250 CCTV footage, accused used fake number plate on scooter

Ahmedabad: The Ellisbridge Police and Crime Branch have reviewed around 250 CCTV footage recordings in the case of the ₹65 lakh robbery from two Angadia employees near Ellisbridge Gymkhana. After the investigation, it was revealed that the accused had placed a wrong number plate on the scooter. Additionally, the police have interrogated individuals involved in previous robberies targeting Angadia firms.

The robbery occurred on July 10th when Babubhai Prajapati and Manojbhai Patel, two workers of R. Kantilal Angadia firm on CG Road, were returning to their office after collecting ₹65 lakhs from Jamalpur in a rickshaw. Near Ellisbridge Gymkhana, two assailants attacked the victims by throwing chilli powder in their eyes. The attackers fled the scene after incapacitating and robbing the employees.
