Vadodara: A severed leg of an animal was found on the premises of the Jay Yogeshwar Mahadev Mandir in the Tandalja area of the city during a Bhajan event for Devpodhi Ekadashi on Wednesday. The incident caused a stir, prompting two ACPs, a PI, and a police team to rush to the scene. JP Road police have started an investigation.
After the Bhajan event, a female devotee found the severed leg in a plastic bag while she was leaving the temple with three others. She believed it was the leg of a cow. Concerned people and Bajrang Dal workers rushed to the scene, and the police control room was informed.
A police source revealed that the severed leg is about fifteen days old. FSL experts are involved in the investigation. The police will act based on the FSL report and take strict action against the culprit. DeshGujarat
