Union Budget 2024: ₹8,743 crore allocated for railway infrastructure in Gujarat

New Delhi: The Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, announced the Union Budget for the fiscal year 2024-25, in which Rs. 8,743 crore has been allocated for the development of railway infrastructure in the state of Gujarat, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated today.

Vaishnaw also stated that 42 projects, including new tracks covering 2,948 km and costing Rs 30,826 crore, are currently ongoing in Gujarat.

Moreover, he mentioned that 87 railway stations in Gujarat will be developed as Amrit stations including Ahmedabad, Anand, Ankleshwar, Asarwa, Bardoli, Bhachau, Bhaktinagar, Bhanwad, Bharuch, Bhatia, Bhavnagar, Bhestan, Bhildi, Bilimora Junction, Botad Junction, Chandlodia, Chorwad Road, Dabhoi Junction, Dahod, Dakor, Derol, Dhragadhra, Dwarka, Gandhidham, Godhra Junction, Gondal, Hapa, Himmatnagar, Jam Jodhpur, Jam Vanthali, Jamnagar, Junagadh Junction, Kalol Junction, Kanalus Junction, Karamsad, Keshod, Khambhalia, Kosamba Junction, Lakhtar, Limbadi, Limkheda, Mehmedabad Khera Road, Mehsana Junction, Mahuva, Maninagar, Mithapur, Miyagam Karajan Junction, Morbi, Nadiad Jn, Navsari, New Bhuj, Okha, Paddhari, Palanpur Junction , Palitana, Patan, Porbandar,Pratapnagar, Rajkot Junction, Rajula Junction, Sabarmati BG, Sabarmati MG, Sachin, Samkhiali, Sanjan, Savarkundla, Sayansidhpur, Sihore Junction, Somnath, Songadh, Surat, Surendranagar, Than, Udhna, Udvada, Umargaon Road, Unjha, Utran, Vadodara, Vapi, Vatva, Veraval, Viramgam, Vishwamitri.
