Two Gujarat MPs among 16 BJP Whips appointed in Lok Sabha

Gandhinagar: Two Lok Sabha members from Gujarat are among 16 whips appointed by Bharaitya Janata Party’s parliamentary party unit. They are Devusinh Chauhan from Kheda and Dhaval Patel from Valsad. Devusinh is former minister of state in the Centre while Dhaval Patel is first time member of Lok Sabha from Valsad seat which is reserved for Schedule Tribe(ST or Tribal) candidate.
Ruling party today announced appointment of Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal as Chief Whip and also appointed 16 Whips including Dilip Saikia, Gopaljee Thakur, Santosh Pandey, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Dhaval Patel, Devusinh Chauhan, Jugal Kishor Sharma, Kota Srinivas Poojary, Sudhir Gupta, Smita Uday Wagh, Ananta Nayak, Damodar Agarwal, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Satish Kumar Gautam, Shashank Mani and Khagen Murmu.
