32 Municipalities of Gujarat get Civic Centers today; Here’s the list and details

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister today from Balashinor e-dedicated 31 city civic centers (CCC) set up at a cost of Rs. 44.05 crore. These CCCs are set up under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana.

The citizens will get municipal services from CCC as a one-stop shop. Property tax, hall booking, tax assessment application, marriage registration, professional tax registration, birth and death certificates, gumastadhara permits, and other complaints proceed through CCC.

The towns where CCC have become functional with today’s launch are Balasinore, Patdi, Kapadvanj, Botad, Thasra, Jetpur, Gondal, Sikka, Okha, Patan, Siddhpur, Unja, Dhanera, Mansa, Shehra, Halol, Anand, Petlad, Santarampur, Jhalod, Dharampur, Jambusar, Bardoli, Bilimora, Songadh, Mahuva, Kodinar, Visavadar, Babra, Palitana, and Mangrol.

Launched in the 2022-23 year under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana, the initiative began with 22 municipalities. In the 2023-24 year, the second phase has seen 66 additional centers sanctioned, with the Gujarat Urban Development Corporation overseeing their development at an estimated cost of ₹93.76 crore. From Balasinor, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has e-inaugurated the 31 new City Civic Centers, constructed at a total cost of ₹44.05 crore. DeshGujarat
