Couple dies in fatal accident between 5 vehicles on Halol-Vadodara Road

Vadodara: A fatal accident occurred on the Halol-Vadodara Road near Jarod village, involving five vehicles, leading to the deaths of a man and woman found to be a couple.
According to preliminary information, a heavy load transport truck and a tanker collided with each other and overturned onto three nearby vehicles. These three vehicles included an autorickshaw, an Eeco van, and another Kia car. The couple in the Eeco lost their lives, while six people in the Kia escaped death as the airbags deployed. The police and Vadodara Fire Department rushed to the scene after receiving the information.
Regarding this, the PI at Jarod police station stated that two people have died on the spot and three others are injured. Injured have been shifted to the CHC Center in Jarod for treatment. There is a traffic jam of three to four kilometers, which is currently being cleared.
Due to the traffic jam following the incident, diversions have been implemented on the Halol-Vadodara Road. The Halol-Vadodara toll road has been closed. All Vadodara-bound vehicles from Halol have been diverted from the Bhathiji temple and CNG pump on the highway to Jarod village and back to the highway from there. DeshGujarat
