Stray Dog Menace: Rabid dog attacks 16 people in Vadiya of Amreli

Amreli: In yet another case of stray dog menace, a rabid stray dog in Vadiya village of Amreli district has attacked more than 15 people. The individuals injured by the dog bites were rushed to Vadiya CHC, and later some others were referred to Amreli and Junagadh.
The incident occurred on Saturday noon when the dog became rabid, attacking over 15 individuals, including students, women, elderly people, and police personnel.
Manish Dolariya, the Sarpanch of the village, told the media that 10-15 people were bitten by the dog. The gram panchayat has sent a team of 40 people to catch the dog.
According to the doctor at Vadiya CHC, 8-10 patients were administered primary aid and anti-rabies injections; however, some individuals who needed further medical attention were referred elsewhere. DeshGujarat
