19 from Rajkot Sonibazar booked for not reporting details of migrant workers

Rajkot: Police have filed offences against 19 shop owners in Soni bajar area for failure to report the details of migrant staffers.
In view of increasing number of crimes involving migrant workers, especially in gold work units, the city police commissioner issued a notification mandating registration of workers employed in Soni bajar shops, jewellery show rooms, Spa centres, factories etc. The details of staffers can be register in the cityzen portal or citizen first android app.
19 businessmen from Sonibajar were found in breach of the notification. Among the shopkeepers booked are Arun Samanta, SK Rajesh ali shamsher ali Sheikh, Firoze mandal, Mukesh Thadeshwar, Giyasuddin Sheikh, Siraz Sheikh, Jatin Odedara, Saddamhussain Sheikh, Bulbul Amjadali, Kartik Dogra, Irfan Mominkhan, Asanali mandal, Nazrul Islam, Sahid Mandal, Sarfaraz Sheikh, Tapas Ranjan, Suryakant Pariya Javedali Mandal, Arunpal Pal.
