Section 144 imposed in Udaipur after violence

Udaipur: After fight between two students of a local school, the city police in Udaipur have imposed section 144 in tourist town Udaipur.
A victim boy is seriously injured and admitted to Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of hospital. Hindu organizations called for shutdown of markets in Chetak circle, Hathipol, Ashwini bajar, Bapu bajar and Ghantaghar areas to protest the attack on boy.
Some vchicles were torched in a local garrage and mall some shops in a local mall were also damaged. Police had to apply force to control the mob.
While victim boy Devraj is under medical treatment, the police have nabbed the accused student and his father. The incident of stabbing took place in the government school in Surajpol Thana area in the morning. School teacher reached MB hospital with an injured student. The violence sparked off mainly due to rumours that the victim Hindu boy was dead in attack.
More police force has been deployed in the city and the situation is tensed but under control. DeshGujarat
