Mumbai Delhi August Kranti Rajdhani to have mannually operated doors again
August 20, 2024
Surat: The Railways will run the Mumbai Central – Nizamuddin August Kranti Rajdhani Train with coaches that have manually operated doors. The Railways is presently operating this train with coaches from the Tejas train, which have automatic doors for last three years. However, a decision has now been made to replace these coaches with LIB coaches that have manually operated doors. It is understood that this decision was made in response to complaints by passengers regarding difficulties in boarding the train during times of heavy rush, as the automatic doors would open and shut at specific intervals.DeshGujarat
