One held in Bhuj for rape and forcing a woman to convert to Islam

Rajkot: A 40-year-old man was arrested in Bhuj on the accusation of raping a woman from a different religion and attempting to coerce her into converting to Islam. The accused, Sultan Siddhi, a rickshaw driver, was taken into custody following a complaint filed by the 31-year-old woman at the B Division police station in Bhuj.
The woman claimed that Siddhi had been physically exploiting her at his home for the past four years and had been pressuring her to convert to his religion. She also mentioned that she was previously married but had since divorced her husband. Siddhi has been booked for rape, causing injuries, insults, and attempted forced conversion under the Gujarat Freedom of Religion Act, 2003. DeshGujarat
